ITV viewers flood Ofcom with complaints over GMB Ed Balls' interview with wife Yvette Cooper


There have been more than 8,000 complaints to media regulator Ofcom after Ed Balls interviewed his wife, the Home Secretary Yvette Cooper, live on Good Morning Britain

An interview between Ed Balls and his wife, Home Secretary Yvette Cooper, on ITV's Good Morning Britain has sparked a wave of complaints to Ofcom. Earlier, Labour MP Ms Sultana engaged in an interview with presenters Garraway and Balls on Good Morning Britain as they discussed her call for political leaders to outright condemn the protests as "Islamophobic" and "racist". As Ms Sultana attempted to address Garraway's query regarding her call for denouncing Islamophobia, Balls cut in again interrupting her, prompting her to retort "if she can finish", followed by a critique of an immigration-related article he penned.
