ITV Thriller ‘Red Eye’ Starring Jing Lusi & Richard Armitage Sells To 120 Territories & Sony Says U.S. Deal Is Close
ITV's 'Red Eye' starring Richard Armitage and Jing Lusi has sold to 120 territories with a US sale coming.
Red Eye is produced by Doctor Who maker Bad Wolf and stars the Crazy Rich Asians and Fool me Once actors Lusi and Armitage, along with the likes of Lesley Sharp and Jemma Moore. Mike Wald, Executive Vice President, International Distribution and Networks, Sony Pictures Television, said: “The global response to Red Eye speaks to the high demand for compelling storytelling with broad appeal. Directed by Kieron Hawkes ( Fortitude and Power Book IV), it was EP’d by Julie Gardner ( I Hate Suzie, Doctor Who), Lachlan MacKinnon ( Industry, A Discovery of Witches) and Dowling, with Kristian Dench ( The Capture, Strike Back) as producer and Jingan Young writing episode four.
