ITV The Masked Singer: Piranha crowned winner and unveiled as McFly star
As yet another nail biting series of The Masked Singer drew to a close on Saturday evening, fans were left blindsided when winning act Piranha was unmasked as a very familiar face
After beating fellow finalists Cricket and Bigfoot, the all important moment came to unmask this year’s winner, with the audience excitedly chanting “take it off” until Piranha was revealed to be none other than McFly singer Danny Jones. Dippy Egg was the next star to be unmasked as radio and TV presenter Nicky Campbell as part of a double elimination which also saw Maypole revealed to be Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton.
