ITV Love Island stars dealt devastating blow hours before new episode airs

In scenes that aired on Monday night (June 9) there were two major surprises in store for viewers in the very first episode, confirming host Maya Jama's promise to bring some never-before-seen drama to the Majorca villa to mark the show's tenth anniversary. She coupled up with Blu Chegin, but the pair have already struggled to bond and he told the Scottish beauty she wasn't his "type on paper", meaning his head could easily be turned by newly single Shakira. Spokesperson for Betway Mike Reading said: "Following American bombshell Antonia’s explosive entrance and her dramatic decision to steal taxi driver Ben on opening night, Shakira now finds herself under pressure to couple up – whenever, wherever – or risk becoming the first contestant dumped from the Love Island villa tonight.
