ITV Lands First UK General Election Debate Between Rishi Sunak & Keir Starmer
ITV has secured a General Election debate between Rishi Sunak Vs Keir Starmer before the BBC announcement.
ITV added that it plans to broadcast additional programing including an interview show with other party leaders and a multi-party debate. Incumbent Prime Minister Sunak had been keen for more but Starmer, whose opposition Labour Party is miles ahead in the polls, always drew the line at two. The BBC also unveiled its election night coverage for the July 4 poll, which will be led by Clive Myrie and Laura Kuenssberg.
