ITV issues serious warning to Emmerdale and Coronation Street viewers


ITV bosses have been forced to issue a warning to fans of both Coronation Street and Emmerdale to prevent them being scammed by fake 'soap star' accounts

The cautionary message stated: "Please be mindful that the Coronation Street and Emmerdale actors are often impersonated on social media by scammers who set up fake accounts on platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok and Telegram."
