ITV I'm A Celeb hit with backlash hours before launch as fans demand huge change

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! has been hit with backlash from viewers who are demanding that show bosses remove the part of the show that involves animals.

ITV's hit series, famed for setting celebrities against tasks featuring camel penis, pig testicles and live bugs, has a history of criticism for animal use, including disapproval from RSPCA over what it sees as "mistreatment". This year, the popular show will kick off on November 17, with a star-studded line-up including Loose Women's Jane Moore, N-Dubz singer Tulisa, footballer's wife Coleen Rooney and ex-boxer Barry McGuigan.
