ITV Gladiators' Wolf still has injury from show 20 years after it ended
Former Gladiators star Wolf has revealed the gruelling challenge which resulted in him still carrying the injury to this day and left another contestant needing nine surgeries
Just imagine two plucky contestants racing up a massive 7.5 metre-high pyramid, with a bunch of burly Gladiators trying to block their path, as you might guess, this led to quite a few nasty falls and injuries. Back in 1996, Gladiators star Jet, whose real name is Diane Youdale, suffered a horrific neck injury that ultimately led to her retirement. This wasn't the only serious injury on the show either as former Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies, also known as Amazon, had to endure nine surgeries and a knee reconstruction after a nasty fall from the same pyramid.
