Emmerdale fans were completely taken-aback as one character behaved terribly in the latest episode, leading to a huge row that may have ended one couple on the ITV soap

Emmerdale viewers were left devastated at the end of tonight's instalment, 16 January, as fan-favourite Paddy Kirk (played by Dominic Brunt) made a completely out-of-character move and shouted and screamed at girlfriend Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley). But with a difficult senior vet in the business causing problems and taking the mickey out of Mandy's slinky black outfit at the work party, Paddy was ready to crack. Mandy stormed home crying, shocked by her beau's behaviour, and while Paddy tried to apologise after realising he'd got things all wrong, it wasn't enough as the hairdresser was fuming.
