Emmerdale viewers were left distracted during a major kidnap plot, as things reached breaking point with Rhona Goskirk (played by Zoe Henry). As Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) tried to convince Rhona that she needed to return to the village and give baby Ivy back to her dad, the heartbreaking plot was overshadowed for some. During one devastating scene that saw Rhona sobbing as she talked to the little girl, promising her that they would go and build a new life together, viewers couldn't help but notice that the baby being filmed was a completely different actor.
