ITV Corrie star 'set to be next Bond girl' after Rovers job gives her experience to shake martini for 007

Former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan is among the favourites to be the next Bond girl, following her recent success in Netflix thriller Fool Me Once

Betting expert James Leyfield, has revealed that Michelle could be going head-to-head with Killing Eve star Jodie Comer, for the coveted 'Bond girl' role. Speaking on behalf of gambling.com, James said: "Michelle, who is 5/2 to be the next Bond Girl, started out in soaps, starring as barmaid Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street for six years. "The actress has had the perfect training ground in hit BBC spy thriller Killing Eve, for which she landed a Primetime Emmy Award for her superb portrayal of sociopathic assassin Villanelle.
