In a dramatic turn of events on Wednesday's visit (17 April) to Coronation Street, Bobby Crawford implicated a new suspect in the Lauren Bolton murder case, as he valiantly tried to protect Weatherfield favourite Roy Cropper. Carla questioned his deviation from their agreed-upon story, to which Bobby replied: "I did kind of - it's not like I told her someone in a puffer with Adrian Chiles' face on it. Initially, Bobby was the one casting doubt on Roy, who now faces potential jail time for the crime he's accused of.
