ITV cooking show featuring savage insults and tricky challenges is set to return after 20-year hiatus
He relaunched the iconic show in 2004, as 11 celebrities battled it out to be the crowd winner. The show was hosted by former Have I Got News for You anchor Angus Deayton.
The celebrity chef, 57, has not appeared on the show in the UK for two decades, and the revival would see him cook up a storm and turn up the heat on a group of highly stressed competitors, according to The Sun. The final UK series was presented in 2009 by TV veteran Claudia Winkleman, now host of The Traitors and Strictly Come Dancing. The US version began in 2005 and has to date run for 18 seasons, the most recent wrapping in 2019, titled Hell's Kitchen: Rookies vs. Veterans.
