When Ronan Keating took a break from Boyzone to pursue his solo career, the singer continued to be managed by Louis and he went on to achieve a number one hit with Life is a Rollercoaster in 2000. But back in 2017 Louis caused a stir when Girls Aloud member Kimberley Walsh alleged that in 2004 the congratulated the group for “not being fat” anymore. From 2004 until 2018, Louis was a judge on The X Factor, with his time on the show leading him to become the manager of Shayne Ward, whose debut single That's My Goal topped the UK charts.
