In a heartbreaking run of events, Fern lost both her parents within a short space of time - her dad Tony passed away in December 2019 followed by her mum in April 2018. In 2022, TV star Phil was snapped sharing a kiss with his former wife's best mate, Lorraine Stanton, but Fern said they continue to be good pals.
