It’s SNL, Innit?
Lorne Michaels will executive-produce a U.K. version of the legendary American sketch show.
And while there’s no word yet on whether it will feature a Cockney Pardo, it has been confirmed that the show will replicate the rotating-host-and-musical-guest format of the original, executive-produced by Lorne Michaels and Broadway Video. The idea of a foreign SNL clone is not a new one; the show has previously inspired adaptations in a number of countries, including Germany, Brazil, South Korea, and Italy. Berry, of course, because of his uncanny ability to elevate everything he does with virtuosic line deliveries and Adele so she can finally take the stage and sing “Hello from the same side.”
