Issa Rae Takes a Screenshot Every Time She's an Answer in the New York Times Crossword: 'I Feel Honored'

Issa Rae is a 'New York Times' crossword puzzle player — and knows she's popped up a few times as answer. She tells PEOPLE that whenever she does, she and her friends take screenshots of it.

"I've taken several screenshots every time I do a puzzle and I'm just like, 'Oh, it's me, I'm the answer,' " Rae, 40, tells PEOPLE while promoting her new role in Black Mirror season 7, which is now streaming on Netflix. As for joining the sprawling ensemble of Netflix's dystopian anthology series, season 7 marks an unofficial reunion for Rae and Tracee Ellis Ross, who both appear in different episodes — "Hotel Reverie" and "Common People," respectively — after sharing the screen in American Fiction. When asked about reuniting all the women on Brunson's hit ABC sitcom, Rae says, "Listen, tell Quinta that right now to cast everybody from Black Lady Sketch Show."
