Rich the Kid posted a text conversation he allegedly had with Ye where the rapper, formerly known as Kanye West, said he’s “retiring from professional music” and that he “didn’t know what else to do.” Rich the Kid protested saying the kids need him and said he and Ty Dolla $ign made the biggest stamp on culture in 2024. While we don’t know if Ye is really giving up on the music biz for good, he has three features on Rich the Kids album, “Life’s A Gamble,” which drops next Friday. Also Ye and Ty announced a listening event for their joint projects next month in Korea.
