On Monday, the actor shared a cryptic post on his Instagram about his decision to pass on the role of Neo in the original Matrix with a few interesting questions. Back in 2019, Smith posted a YouTube video explaining his decision to not star in the film, which ended up going to Keanu Reeves. The teaser from Smith comes nearly a year after Hollywood Reporter confirmed that a new Matrix movie was in the works, directed by Drew Goddard.
