Netflix The New Ocho Of Live Pseudo-Sports? Chestnut Vs. Kobayashi Will Settle Their Beef On Who Can Inhale The Most Hot Dogs

Joey Chestnut finishes in first place in the 2023 Nathan's Famous International Hot Dog Eating Contest Bobby Bank/Getty Images On the heels of its upcoming live bout between over the hill boxing great Mike Tyson and YouTuber Jake Paul, Netflix has taken another turn toward becoming The Ocho of live sporting contests. The streamer just announced that it will stream a winner take all hot dog eating contest on Labor Day between reigning Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest champ Joey Chestnut and Takeru Kobayashi, the previous champ. Chestnut’s the world record-holder for eating 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes, and he has won the July 4 Coney Island event 8 years in a row.
