On July 6, John formally announced his retirement while appearing at WWE’s “Money in the Bank” event in Toronto. After speaking to his audience in Toronto, John told a group of reporters the reason why he was stepping away from the sport: he is “physically” at his “end.” After establishing himself as a WWE persona, the Massachusetts native appeared in a slew of films, including Train Wreck, The Wall and Bumblebee.
