Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda, spoke out on Che’s exit from the show one year ahead of the season 3 premiere in May 2025. The Emmy winner said that she understood that a lot of people were upset with the arc of Steve’s character, Miranda’s husband, whom she left and got back together with in the first Sex and the City film.
