Is ‘The Neighborhood’ Canceled? CBS Reveals Sitcom’s Fate After Season 7 and Spinoff Plans

Is 'The Neighborhood' canceled? CBS has made a slew of announcements about the network's shows and many are wondering the fate of the sitcom after season 7.

The show, starring Cedric the Entertainer, Max Greenfield, Beth Behrs, Tichina Arnold, Sheaun McKinney, Marcel Spears and Skye Townsend, first premiered on the network in 2018. “The series centers on its titular character, Francois ‘Frank’ Crutchfield [Morgan] – or ‘Crutch’ to those that know him well – a Harlem widower whose empty nest plans are put on hold after his millennial son and free-spirited daughter move back home,” the press release said. TVLine reported that Malcolm and Marty will be at the center of the projected series as they “embark on new adventures, finally leaving their parents’ nest to start the next chapter of their lives, finding themselves the newcomers in a neighborhood that’s both close but yet world apart: Venice Beach.”
