“For nearly a decade Outlander has won the hearts of audiences worldwide and we’re pleased to bring Claire and Jamie’s epic love story to a proper conclusion,” Kathryn Busby, President of Original Programming at Starz, said in a statement. Outlander author Diana Gabaldon revealed that she told star Sam Heughan about how the series will end, however, she did not tell Caitríona Balfe. It turns out, Roger ended up in the wrong time period, meeting Jamie’s father and a younger Jenny at Lallybroch.
