Next up, Apatow stars alongside Douglas Booth and Alison Pill in Young Werther, an adaptation of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s Classic The Sorrows of Young Werther for director José Avelino Gilles Corbett Lourenço, which premiered at TIFF 2024. Apatow is currently in production on the upcoming women-led survivalist action thriller Ballerina Overdrive. Apatow stars opposite Uma Thurman, Lana Condor, Millicent Simmonds, and Maddie Ziegler in the 87North and Gulfstream Pictures production.
