Interpol Announce ‘Antics’ 20th Anniversary Reissue With Full 2005 Mexico City Live Set
Interpol announced 'Antics' 20th anniversary edition reissue featuring 'Direction' and the band's live performance at Palacio de los Deportes in 2005.
The record was initially released on Sept. 27, 2004 and featured the singles “Slow Hands,” “Evil,” “C’mere,” and “Narc.” It was a defining moment for Interpol, who are now reissuing the album as a three-LP box set including previously unreleased footage of the band’s Mexico City performance at Palacio de los Deportes in 2005. Ahead of the release, the band has shared the live performance visual for “Slow Hands.” The rest of the 20th anniversary edition of Antics is now available in all digital forms, which brings the one-off soundtrack single “Direction” to streaming for the first time. “Continuous touring has clearly improved each member’s chops: Antics is a far more refined and finessed record than its predecessor.
