The presenter shared a strongly-worded post where she declared that she would continue to 'show her obstinance in an egalitarian country', while passing on her feminist beliefs to her four children.

David shared a gallery of snaps from his trip to India to meet young women who are 'standing up against child-labour, child marriage and gender-based violence,' and vowed he would continue 'invest in the health, education and rights of girls.' The toy company added that Helen, who narrated the smash hit Barbie movie, was chosen due to her 'versatility as a storyteller breathing life into powerful and wide-ranging female stories for generations'. The line-up of those recognised includes Maira Gomez (Brazil), Viola Davis (USA), Nicole Fujita (Japan), Shania Twain (Canada) and Lila Avilés (Mexico).
