‘Moana’ to ‘Glicked’: It’s been a robust few weeks at the international box office largely thanks to the customary end-of-year studio fare, which has pulled audiences out of the winter cold and back into those uncomfortable multiplex seats. Exhibitors are likely grinning into their mince pies with these figures and there’s more to come with Barry Jenkins’ Mufasa: The Lion King, Robert Eggers’s Nosferatu, and Timothée Chalamet’s Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown all set to drop next month.
