International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Forges Partnership With Dubai Studios

The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has forged a partnership with Dubai Studios.

The partnership, which was hailed in a statement as “a significant milestone in fostering television excellence from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and promoting cross cultural collaborations within the global entertainment industry,” was signed in Cannes between Mohamed Al Mulla, group CEO of Dubai Media and Bruce L. Paisner, president and CEO of the International Academy. “This strategic partnership aligns with Dubai’s vision to amplify its media presence on a global scale,” said Al Mulla in the statement, before going on the note that “the future of entertainment will be shaped by content creators whose voices are rooted in local culture and language and our industry has a responsibility to champion these creatives and narratives.” Academy Day is described in the statement as a high-level, by-invitation only four-day networking event “designed to shine a spotlight on the culture and media industry of the region and foster a better understanding of regional business models and cultural institutions to help facilitate cross border collaboration.”
