The relationship hit rock bottom in 2017 after Tina said she was left feeling suicidal after she was arrested and cautioned for possession of cocaine following her performance in pantomime Sleeping Beauty. In 2018, Tina faced court proceedings after she shared a post on Facebook which purportedly included an image and Jon Venables' new name. After two 'hellish years', Tina said her mental health improved when she landed a role on Channel 5's Clink, but Paul turned to drink as he struggled to find a job.
