In a break with tradition, Denise chose to read Tom, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2018, a very powerful poem which included the lines, " Whenever you feel overwhelmed, remember whose king you are and straighten your crown. “When we arrived at Festival House I actually realised we’d forgotten the flowers that Linda had paid a fortune for, and I thought she’d be so hurt if I didn’t walk down the aisle with them – so my poor brother had to rush back and get them! Denise wore a gorgeous yellow sequin-striped maxi dress and navy blue sequin blazer with matching fascinator – which she bought online, much to the dismay of Linda.
