Inside the making of Gogglebox: From street casting to editing tricks

Gogglebox landed on our TV screens in 2013 and proved to be an instant hit with viewers. Here we take a look into how the iconic show is made, including picking the cast...

We've seen the likes of Scarlett Moffatt find fame after appearing on Googlebox, and duos such as Pete and Sophie Sandiford win the hearts of the nation with their hilarious one-liners and collection of novelty mugs. The main bulk of editing happens in the two days leading up to Friday's show, with a viewing taking place with Channel 4 on Thursday afternoons, the team revealed at the Radio Times Festival.
