Inside the life of Garden Rescue's Charlie Dimmock including family tragedy

As BBC show Garden Rescue returns to our screens for another series, let's take a look at gardening expert Charlie Dimmock's life away from the lights and cameras

Having launched in 2016, the show is back for another series as Charlie joins a team of other designers as they give people’s gardens a much-desired makeover. Between 1997 and 2005, Charlie appeared on Ground Force alongside Alan Titchmarsh and Tommy Walsh where the trio made over the gardens of individuals who’d been nominated by friends or family. Following Ground Force, the TV presenter hosted River Walks for Meridian in the mid-noughties and in 2010 she had a role in the touring production Calendar Girls.
