Jinkx Monsoon, Kathy Griffin attended a Kamala Harris fundraiser at The Abbey in West Hollywood, which featured Coconuts for Kamala cocktails.
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” star Jinkx Monsoon captured the mood at Thursday night’s A Dance Party for Kamala at the iconic West Hollywood gay bar The Abbey with a simple question for the crowd. Instead, Monsoon was one of only four people who spoke at the three-hour event, joining Jesse Tyler Ferguson on stage followed by Harris national finance committee members Todd Hawkins and Justin Mikita. Doors opened at 8 p.m. with a sign warning that The Abbey would be closed until 11 p.m. for a “private event.” Tickets prices ranged from $25 to attend to $10,000 to be named a co-chair with access to a pre-reception and a reserved table with six seats.
