The actress, 36, bagged herself a BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2022 and has since gone from strength to strength, securing her 'dream role' as Rita Marley in this year's One Love.
Returning home from location, Lashana told of how she couldn't afford her rent or to pay off her credit card as she found herself deep into her overdraft, as she cashed in her 'pay per day' for groceries. Directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green from a screenplay by Zach Baylin, Frank E. Flowers and Terence Winter, the teaser also showed scenes of Marley relaxing with his family and playing them music. Along with Ben-Adir and Lynch, the film's cast also includes James Norton, Tosin Cole, Anthony Welsh, Michael Gandolfini, Umi Myers and Nadine Marshall.
