According to the insider, Powell’s sister Leslie invited Sweeney to her Saturday, March 29, wedding in Dallas, Texas, since they have “been close friends for a long time.” “I don’t have the mental capacity to pull anything like this off, but she’s very smart,” Powell told Business Insider in December 2023, referring to the then-viral rumors.
