Batman fans will also know him behind the specs as Gotham City police commissioner Jim Gordon in The Dark Knight series, opposite Christian Bale’s caped crusader. Then, Gary married Kill Bill actress Uma Thurman in 1990, who he met on the set of 1990 crime drama State Of Grace, though the couple’s whirlwind romance ended after just two years of marriage.
