Silent Witness star David Caves, who plays the role of Jack Hodgson, has a quieter life off-screen with his wife, children and unusual hobby he took up especially for the BBC drama
The family lived on-site and after leaving school David went on to study modern languages, including French and German, at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. David went on to graduate from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in 2005 and during this time starred in a number of their productions, including Romeo and Juliet, The Country Wife, The Maid's Tragedy and Dublin Carol.
