Silent Witness star Aki Omoshaybi, who plays the role of no nonsense Professor Gabriel Folukoya, has a very different life off screen, including being raised in foster care
Actor Aki said about his character: “Gabriel has much less practical experience than Nikki and prefers to computer model an autopsy than to slice a body open. Speaking to Entertainment Daily during the launch of the newest series of Silent Witness, Aki chatted about how joining the show was "overwhelming but amazing, all at the same time". Talking about his childhood alienation, he added: “Being fostered and growing up in Portsmouth, which was predominantly white, I felt like I didn’t fit in.
