Russell Crowe maintains a close relationship with his ex-wife Danielle Spencer despite their marriage officially ending in 2018.
'I think because Russell was travelling a lot with work, we wanted to try and keep the family together and the parents in the same place, I just couldn't [continue my singing and acting career],' she told KIIS FM. 'Twenty years ago today, I married the father of my boys,' she captioned the post, which included a rare, intimate image of the actor with his sons as children. The veteran actor said he knew their union was doomed in 2011, and some tracks on his album The Crowe/ Doyle Songbook were directed at Danielle, which were pointedly titled Sadness Of A Woman and Too Far Gone.
