Inside Prince Harry's close relationship withColdplay's Chris Martin as they headline Glastonbury
frontman Chris Martin have been firm friends for well over a decade, with the Duke of Sussex even giving the Glastonbury superstar a shout-out in his 2023 memoir, Spare. They first made a public appearance together in 2014 when Chris, aged 47, penned a song for the inaugural Invictus Games.
Harry called upon Chris and his fellow band members again for his Sentebale concert at Kensington Palace back in June 2016, an event aimed to raise funds and consciousnes towards HIV. Drawing from his 2010 blog post, Ricky noted: "Hammersmith (Apollo) was great... Had a drink after the show with Chris Martin and Prince Harry. By June, the couple had settled in Montecito, California, not far from Chris's Malibu home, hinting at a growing friendship between the prince and the Coldplay lead singer.
