Netflix's One Day star Leo Woodall, who plays heartthrob Dexter Mayhew in the leading role, comes from a star-studded family of actors but almost became a PE teacher instead
The heartbreaking series, which is the adaptation of David Nicholls' 2009 novel, follows the love story between Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew as they go their separate ways in life but remain intertwined with a budding romance teased with a will they, won't they scenario. Leo attended Arts Educational School (ArtsEd) in London and graduated in 2019 - in the same year he secured his first acting stint in a short film called Man Down. In his already impressive career, Leo also starred in the Amazon Prime series Citadel in 2023 before landing the role of Dexter Mayhew opposite Ambika Mod who plays Emma Morley in One Day.
