Inside One Day star Eleanor Tomlinson's life from teen debut to soap star dad
With romantic tear-jerker One Day now officially streaming on Netflix, we take a closer look at star Eleanor Tomlinson's impressive life off screen, including her famous soap dad
The emotional mini-series is based on David Nicholl’s novel of the same name and is split across 14 episodes as it follows the intersecting lives of two friends Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew, that meet and fall in love during their university graduation. One Day will mark Eleanor’s second high profile drama in recent months following on from the success of her six-part romantic thriller series The Couple Next Door, which began airing on Channel 4 last December. From there a number of popular roles followed including in The Sarah Jane Adventures, Alice in Wonderland and Jack the Giant Slayer, however it was period dramas that soon captured Eleanor’s attention and propelled her to widespread fame.
