Inside making of Kate Middleton's cancer announcement video and how press were informed

The Princess of Wales issued a video last week informing the public that she had been diagnosed with cancer after undergoing a major abdominal procedure earlier in the year

Back in January, Kensington Palace shared that the Princess had received planned major abdominal surgery, and was recovering at home in private until at least April. But, in the video - captioned 'A message from Catherine, The Princess of Wales' - Kate spoke directly to the public to share the news, detailing that at the time of her operation, it was thought that her condition was non-cancerous.
