During an appearance on Good Morning Britain in 2022, Leigh gave viewers a glimpse into his personal life and the story behind his character Keith Lemon. After some drama on ITV last year, he said he made sure to check in with everyone at This Morning, including his friend Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who had admitted to an affair with a younger man.
