Inside King Charles’ cancer fight: 'He needs to focus on treatment - it’s not a time to sort family issues'

EXCLUSIVE: With the King Charles' cancer diagnosis revealed last week, the Prince of Wales is facing an increasing number of duties at a time where he wants to be a "devoted husband and father"

In a statement issued last week, Buckingham Palace announced the King was diagnosed with a form of cancer after the disease was found during his recent operation for an enlarged prostate. Breaking his silence following the sad news, the 75 year old monarch, who will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual, apologised for being unable to attend an event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of independence of the former British colony Grenada. Starting at Windsor Castle, the Prince carried out an investiture and later attended the London Air Ambulance annual fundraising evening gala as patron of the charity.
