Once he had signed the paperwork, Gary spent a small fortune employing an interior designer to decorate the villa, fitted it out with a Bang & Olufsen stereo system and Park West art bought on cruises. He then reportedly bought a five-bedroom house in Maidenhead, Berkshire, complete with a swimming pool and snooker room, invested in a boat, and drove a series of flashy cars.
