Coronation Street star Tanisha Gorey has been on the soap since she was six years old and in 2022 her hard work over the years paid off as she was able to purchase her first home
The actress, who brings the character Asha to life, shared the news of their big milestone on social media in June 2022, writing: "I can't quite believe we've bought our first home!!! While Tanisha is busy being a homeowner offscreen, Asha Alahan’s coming out story was huge on Coronation Street, and fans were thrilled when she finally got together with close friend Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher). Asha and Nina have become the golden couple in the hearts of Coronation Street fans“I know I shouldn’t, but I do read social media comments and I honestly didn’t realise how many people support them.”
