The animal-mad actress lives on a smallholding with businessman fiancé Simon Booth and her collection of three rescue cows, 16 ex-battery hens, five ducks, three ducklings and cockerel Mo. After school she enrolled for a performing arts course at her local college and at the age of 16 auditioned to appear on TV entertainer Michael Barrymore’s show My Kind Of People. She has starred on TV in Waterloo Road, Candy Cabs and Let’s Dance For Comic Relief and has appeared on stage in shows including Annie, A Taste Of Honey, Shirley Valentine and Calamity Jane.
