Mark Labbett, aka The Beast on ITV's The Chase, has become embroiled in a love triangle so complicated - and toxic - it would make a quizmaster's head spin.
On first impressions, Mark Labbett, the formidably intelligent professional quizzer on ITV's hit game show, The Chase, might not seem like your typical Lothario. It was following the split that Mark lost ten stone – through regular exercise, he says – and revealed his svelte new look on the red carpet of the National Television Awards in September 2022. She believed him and they made their long-distance relationship work – he is based in Yorkshire and Hayley lives in London – meeting for romantic dates and exercising at hotel gyms together.
